April 25: HealthFirst of Florida enters into an agreement for installing CertifiedMail Server.  HealthFirst was founded in 1995 by local not-for-profit hospitals. It provides a heart program ranked among the nation's top 100, and a cancer program designated by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as a Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program.

April 23: The VGM Group to install CertifiedMail Server for its e-mail security requirements. Van G. Miller & Associates (The VGM Group) is the nations most comprehensive member service organization for independent home health care providers. VGM administers programs for its 1,600 members in 2,800 locations throughout the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. From its beginning in 1986 as a buying alliance, VGM has evolved into a group of companies and services dedicated to helping members in healthcare operations.

April 15: Premier Inc. selects CertifiedMail for its secure messaging needs for HIPAA compliance. Premier Inc. is a leading healthcare alliance collectively owned by more than 200 independent hospitals and healthcare systems in the United States. Together, they operate or are affiliated with nearly 1,500 hospitals and other healthcare sites.

April 7: The leading Northern California healthcare provider Sutter Health selected CertifiedMail Secure Messaging Server for meeting their HIPAA Compliance requirements. CertifiedMail will provide complete onsite installation of its CertifiedMail Server software based on Microsoft .Net platform. The onsite installation will be completed using Sutter's hardware system within one week.

April 1: St. Luke's Episcopal Health System selects CertifiedMail for its secure messaging requirements for HIPAA compliance.

March 28: Covenant Health system selects CertifiedMail for its comprehensive enterprise wide secure messaging requirements for HIPAA compliance. The CertifiedMail Server will be an integrated solution with content filter for real-time HIPAA policy management and securing of the PHI.

Covenant Health is a comprehensive health system established in 1996 by the consolidation of Fort Sanders Health System, and MMC HealthCare System, parent company of Methodist Medical Center. Approximately 8,000 people are employed by Covenant Health and its member organizations. Working together with approximately 1,700 affiliated physicians, these healthcare professionals deliver quality care to thousands of patients in the region.

March 17: Delta Dental of Massachusetts (now DentaQuest) adopts CertifiedMail service for their secure messaging needs and HIPAA compliance. A leader in oral health care, DentaQuest administers dental benefits programs for employers, unions, and associations throughout the northeast.

March 14: Arkansas Children's Hospital selects CertifiedMail for their online secure messaging mandates and HIPAA compliance. Arkansas Children's Hospital, a private, non-profit institution, is one of the ten largest in the nation with a medical staff of 408, and through a partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, is the site of pediatric training for medical and nursing students, post-doctoral residents and paramedical professionals. More than 10,000 patients are admitted each year. Comprehensive, high-quality medical care is offered to children from birth to age 21.

March 10: MEDTAP selects CertifiedMail service for their global research activities primarily in the healthcare industry. MEDTAP International, Inc. is a global research organization specializing in outcomes studies, economic evaluation and modeling, and policy research and analysis for Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device, and managed care industry.

February 28: Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD), one of the nation's leading drugstore chains, has selected CertifiedMail Server to provide secure, two way communication between their website visitors and their pharmacists.  The system will be integrated into their existing web portal and legacy mainframe system, and allow them to meet HIPAA e-mail privacy mandates.

February 12: Providence Health Plans, a not-for-profit plan sponsored by Providence Health System providing care in the Northwest for more than 140 years with a large network of physicians and providers, today selected CertifiedMail Server technology for its secure messaging needs as part of its overall HIPAA compliance initiative.

February 1:  Catholic Healthcare System, comprised of five hospitals and seven nursing homes in the Northeast, has selected CertifiedMail Server to meet its HIPAA secure messaging requirements.  CertifiedMail Server will be installed into their datacenter, and provide secure e-mail communication between facilities, business partners, medical workers and patients.

January 2003

January 27: Martin Memorial Health Systems, recently named to the 100 Top Hospitals List and is one of the top 20 Large Community Hospitals according to a study by the healthcare data-intelligence firm Solucient, today selected CertifiedMail technology for its secure messaging needs for HIPAA compliance and entered into agreement to install CertifiedMail Server. The CertifiedMail Server is expected to go online within two weeks.
