TimeGuard protects OWA accounts from users who fail to logoff and close the browser window, by automatically ending sessions after a period of inactivity. TimeGuard includes both a hard timeout feature that ends sessions regardless of user activity and an extend feature that allows users to continue their session if they are still active within OWA. All features can be easily customized by Exchange system administrators according to their corporate policies based on user hardware, devices and current locations.
