E-mails are stored centrally on the server in Lotus Domino databases. All messages to be archived are encrypted and electronically signed, ensuring that only a few authorized users within the company – such as data protection officers – have access to the data.
Selective e-mail storage
Messages can be stored according to internet domain, sender, recipient, subject header, or a combination of these. This allows detailed tracking of all incoming, outgoing and internal e-mail traffic. Access protection helps to ensure that legal verification requirements can be met.
