Mail Attender offers email policy and mail-file size management for both Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange environments by providing Email Content Filtering, Email Quota Management, Mailbox Scanning, Document Retention, Reporting and Archiving against existing email databases. Version 4.2 for Lotus Notes offers many new features including: Activity Processing - a mail user can be prevented from deleting documents from their mail files if they contain certain characteristics (keywords, dates, sender/recipient). In the aftermath of Enron, this prevents electronic shredding of Notes documents that may need to be kept for legal reasons Attachment Processing - Mail Attender will now process Attachments by Folder, exclude Attachments by Name, include the 'Folder Name' in the notification to the user Document
