E-mail broadcasts are a special class of electronic messaging as they
typically have large address lists. In Lotus Notes it is easy for a user
to abuse the messaging system by mailing inappropriate or ill-timed
messages to large Groups. Even more concerning, a user receiving a
broadcast message only has to hit the REPLY ALL button to create havoc!
Castcadia provides the ability to intercept Lotus Notes broadcast requests, Review, Approve and Schedule the broadcast and then move it into a traffic stream separate from other e-mail. With this separation, broadcasts can be fully managed and controlled.
Castcadia is an intelligent e-mail router designed specifically for
broadcast traffic. Rather than being automatically distributed to the
specified group addresses, broadcasts are routed by Domino to the
Castcadia application where they become manageable assets. Within the
Castcadia database, documents are analyzed and processed according to
predefined profiles. These profiles contain rules that are used to
determine review requirements, delivery schedules, routing strategies,
formatting adjustments, and more.

The effort to meet rules put in
place by HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, SEC and other bodies, is becoming very
time-consuming, laborious and expensive. In many cases, organizations do

For example, ComputerWorld Magazine recently reports "The data security rules mandated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act take effect April 20th. Attender to gain the benefits of managing mailboxes
Mail Attender is a fast growing tool helping companies manage email
growth, storage and regulatory issues. Whether using Lotus Notes or

Attender v1.5 improves e-discovery of Exchange mailboxes, PST files
& common file folders
Discovery Attender™ is a suite of electronic discovery tools specifically
designed to perform dynamic keyword searches in Lotus Notes, Exchange mailboxes,
PST files and common file storage areas. Discovery Attender can
automatically execute powerful scans of message subject, body and
attachments through customizable search criteria. Content searches
are transparent to end-users and can be targeted to specific groups
or users. Once critical information is located, it is summarized and
linked in a detailed report indicating items found that matched the
keyword expression.
Version 1.5 of Discovery Attender for Exchange introduces improved features:
- Advanced Search allows for native text searching of keywords in .PDF and .ZIP files
- De-Duplication to Result Details. After a search the user has the option to de-dup the results based on unique, field related criteria.
- Export to CSV functionality for most views.
- Right click context menus to most views to make accessing
- functionality a bit easier.
- Action History views for both the summary and individual Result Item.
- Search Criteria Summary to reports, wizard, and result summary screen.
