Flexible Sampling Rules - All
outgoing or incoming messages for the members of each review group are
sampled using representative sampling techniques and the results are
aggregated into sets for supervisory review, reporting and retention
Supervisory Review - Authorized
supervisors review sampled messages using a simplified work cycle
within either Outlook or Lotus Notes. All actions are recorded for
report & audit.

MAIL
ATTENDER FOR MS EXCHANGE MANAGES DOCUMENT RETENTION & DELETION
Mail Attender for Exchange is an
extension of the popular Mail Attender for Lotus Domino administrative support tool,
now designed to manage Microsoft
Exchange information stores. It can be used to provide an
automated document retention/deletion capability where the user is
forced to take an action to keep a document beyond the retention
period.
It also provides ad-hoc searching
capabilities to identify inappropriate or threatening emails or
attachments already residing in the Exchange Information Store to help
in legal discovery: identify emails relating to a specific legal
action, identify inappropriate or threatening emails or attachments
such as viruses, mp3 files, avi files, mail containing particular
keywords etc.
It can offload attachments into a
separate 'Archive' database with a link contained in the original
email message, saving disk space allocated to the Mail database.

MIMESWEEPER
GOES TO THE HEAD OF THE CLASS The
NE Independent School District (NEISD) in San Antonio handles email
accounts and Internet access for more than 4,500 staff members located
in 56 schools & 4 administrative locations. Each day,
approximately 100,000 email messages come into the system. Many carry
viruses and worms - a big problem until the district deployed
MAILsweeper.
According
to District IT Administrator Steven Emilienburg, "There were
occasions where up to a third of the staff computers on a particular
