NeedText is a 'Must-have' tool for administrators 
to keep senior-managers Blackberry devices active & available 

ReSoft International has today released a new white paper highlighting Best Practices for Proactively Monitoring the BlackBerry network.

The paper focuses on how tools like the NeedText Blackberry Monitoring Tool from Epoch Integration, recently added to ReSoft's portfolio of email management products, will proactively monitor the interaction between the Blackberry device and BES server.

This includes BES performance statistics as well as Email roundtrip tests, Battery level, Wireless signal level, last time the device made contact with the BES (to identify unused or under-utilized devices) and messages pending & processed (to monitor flow and identify blockages). 

NeedTEXT continually checks these components of the BlackBerry environment and alerts administrators if a counter goes beyond a pre-set threshold. Multiple BlackBerry Enterprise Servers can be monitored from a single console and the user interface is entirely web-based for seamless access.
