ReSoft International strengthens Lotus Sametime Instant Messaging by adding new team & compliance solutions

To assist customers implementing applications within the Lotus Sametime Instant Messaging toolset, ReSoft International LLC has teamed up with Instant Technologies of Durham NH, to add their suite of instant messaging management tools to the ReSoft solutions portfolio.

Industry Analysts say Instant Messaging usage is growing at alarming rates. Osterman Research recently reported that fifty-two percent of organizations are using IM for real-world business applications. Customers driving this growth are demanding better collaboration, compliance and usability tools for interaction between employees as well as communication with Customers and Suppliers.

Users of the Lotus Notes Sametime enterprise instant messaging system can expand its use by deploying the Instant Technologies product set, including:

- Instant TeamSessions enables Persistent Group Chat Sessions in Lotus Sametime, allowing teams to instantly share ideas and content in a centrally managed, secure, and persistent real-time environment.

- Instant Queue Manager creates virtual queues in Lotus Sametime that sort chat requests and direct them to the next available queue agent, allowing employees & customers to contact a skills-group through a group Sametime id.

- Instant IMtegrity allows secure logging and archiving of IBM Lotus Sametime chats to meet compliance requirements.
